1. Introduction
Welcome to the Lewes Football Foundation (‘the Foundation’) brand and identity guidelines. Using a strong and consist brand identity will build trust in and recognition of the Foundation will become recognisable and trusted. If you have any queries or need advice on an asset you are producing, for your team or the Foundation, please email Miranda at lewesfootballfoundation@gmail.com

Kit and uniform guidelines – how to apply our brand on team kits

3. Logo use
The Lewes Football Foundation logo is available in three formats:
Full-colour (primary)
Black and white for mono applications.
White for use on dark backgrounds.
How to use the Foundation logo
Maintain clear space around the logo to avoid visual clutter.
Do not alter the logo proportions, colours, or typography.
Avoid placing the logo on busy backgrounds.
Always use high-resolution versions for print and digital applications.

The Foundation uses a consistent set of brand colours:

These colours should be used consistently across all branding materials, including digital and print applications.

Primary fonts
Headlines: Eurostile Heavy/Bold
Alternatives (if Eurostile is unavailable):
Aptos Narrow (in Word) or Exo (in Canva)
Body copy: Rubik Bold/Medium/Regular
Alternatives (if Rubik Bold is unavailable):
Calibri (in Word) or Rubik (on Canva)
6. Social media and digital
Guidelines
Use the Foundation logo as the profile picture on all social media accounts.
Maintain brand colours in all graphics.
Use pre-approved templates for social media posts.
Keep messaging clear, professional, and aligned with the Foundation’s mission.

8. Print and merchandise
Flyers, leaflets and posters
Maintain brand colours and fonts
Use high-quality images. Images should be a minimum of 300dpi. Ensure that you have permission to use images of children and young people featured
Keep messaging clear and concise - avoid excessive text
Ensure there is a ‘call to action’ - what action do you want the viewer to take?
Merchandise
Logo positioning: front and centre for maximum visibility.
Colours: ensure consistency with the core brand palette.
9. Key messages
We use these short paragraphs to describe the Foundation. It is not necessary to use all (or any) of them on everything but please use them, where you feel it will add value to the asset you are creating.
